She has completed specialized courses designed for the application of Gyrotonic for Osteoporosis, pre and post-operative hip replacement surgery, breast cancer survivors, and applications for the psoas.
Lauren loves to teach. She is continually inspired by her clients’ potential and endeavors to guide each person towards a more integrated self, moving not only injury free but with joy, creativity and freedom!
Lauren is a trained dancer, with a BFA in modern dance. Her dance training is from the North Carolina School of the Arts and the University of North Carolina Greensboro. It is her 20 years of dancing and curiosity of the body that underpin her teaching. Her teaching influences include her studies in yoga, Susan Klein Technique, Zero Balancing and her general upbringing: both of Lauren’s parents are long time ultra marathoners and Ironmen.
